I really like your style; reminds me of 'old school' sci-fi novel cover paintings. I'm gonna have to take a look at the techniques you're using and adapt (read: shamelessly pilfer) from them now that I'm finally attempting to get with the times and go digital... will post and let you know how it goes, so you can rip it to shreds if you like?
really enjoyed the first part of the vid for this one - couple of things though - what the hell was the software you used at the start to do the 'black & white' layout? - and is there a chance you could 'speed up' any furture videos - even just 2x speed would make it easier to download for us wi-fi users (no worries if not).
Get with the times!! lol it's a program called al:chemy [link] it's very fun
Yes i was thinking of doing a separate youtube version but that would require me to invest in some proper video software because iMovie 8 is crraaaaapppppppppppa and can't even speed footage up. Soon though
cheers for the link - working out VERY nicely already! - i actually used to paint abstract in acrylic years ago, but had to stop as my arthritis began affecting my hands very badly. Ive always tried to maintian an element of that approach in my digital work, but most sofware isnt 'random' enough to really break out. this IS! ta!
