.:Day At The Beach:. by David-Holland .:Day At The Beach:. by David-Holland
I want to go to the beach!! Why is it raining??!! I've started doing some paintings based off the ideas that everyone came up with but i just really felt like painting this :)

My new job gives me no time to paint what so ever, sucks.

This is great. Love the light rays especially. You should enter the Save The Beach contest [link]
Think your style of work would fit well

Wow... You really gave it a twist no one would've expected!! The dark gloomy cave transformed in a nice background cliff with waterfalls.. Ha!! :D

And of course, you little sci-fiction touch... what would a piece be without Sc-fiction!!!

Oh!! Before I forget ,be careful packing that wood, if one of your hand ever gets hurt, a bunch of people might commit suicide all over the world!!!!

great stuff! though i think the bright colours in the foreground don't match the gloomy green in the background. Nice work on the details though!

Nice dude, I'm loving those colors. I've always been a fan of tropical paradise depictions. Reminds me a little of ~barontieri's piece "Beach" [link] in a less industrial and more relaxed way.

Keep it up dude. I hope you can get back to painting regularly again soon.

I work nights in a wood mill packing wood. It's not bad and it pays well. i don't get home till three in the morning and then i usually sleep till noon so it leaves me without much time to do anything really :(

I had a job like that a while back. Worked at a cardboard processing warehouse running the cutting and printing machines. You wouldn't believe how heavy some of those stacks of cardboard were, and sharp! I had so many slashes on my wrists from the fresh-pressed cardboard that I looked like a cutter. Temperatures in the warehouse were usually over 100°, not counting the heat from a machine when you stood next to it.

Not exactly fond memories, but I'm glad I did it because now I can always look back and say "at least this job isn't as bad as that was." ;)

Sorry to hear about the lack of free time. Hopefully that improves as you adjust to the job.
