This is beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to watch this unfold. I was actually really surprised by how fast you got into color - pleasantly, i might add! Somewhere between steps 4 and 5, this sort of ethereal/dreamy quality takes over and I find myself much more drawn into the scene. It's relaxing and exciting at the same time. Your treatment of the dark shapes, which occur in step 6, is elegant and does such a good job of bringing my eye left to right and then settling near the center-bottom. Placing the person near the ship does a great job of establishing scale and I particularly love how both of them cross the horizon line. The plants are wonderful framing devices; great job using them to repeat your round shapes and I love what they do for the "story" of the image.
